Bishop Jeff Chavis
Bishop and Mrs. Jeff Chavis have served United since 1981. Rev. Chavis is highly respected in the community and among his peers. A long-time member of the North Carolina District Board, and the coordinator for Native North American Ministries of the United Pentecostal Church Int’l, he is also the executive assistant to the UPCI Multicultural Ministries director. An accomplished musician and singer, his ministry is an incredible blessing and encouragement.
His wife, Wanda Chavis, has worked along beside him through the years, complimenting his ministry with hers. Along with her administrative duties at United, she currently serves as the North Carolina District Ladies Ministries President and holds a Masters Degree in Public Health Administration – with a Complimentary/Alternative Medicine concentration. A published author and songwriter, she is a frequent conference speaker for various ladies meetings across the country.
